Almaz: the watch inspired by the orbital station

The Almaz programme was one of the most ambitious projects of Soviet spaceflight — a series of crewed military stations placed in orbit in the 1970s under the cover of the civilian Salyut programme.
The engineers behind Almaz worked under extreme constraints: every gram mattered, every system had to survive vacuum and radiation. It is this philosophy — endurance without compromise — that inspires the Almaz collection by Vostok Europe.
The watches in the series carry rugged stainless-steel cases, sapphire crystal and movements built to endure where ordinary watches give up. Each is hand-assembled in Vilnius, with a 32-point inspection before delivery.
